On the first page of Google search result will show your competitor’s website, social media profile, Wikipedia page and other relevant sites. When you go to 2nd or 3rd page of Google search result will get some website that linked to your competitor. By going 2nd to an nth page you will get a lot of websites that linked with your competitors. You list all these sites manually and try to get the backlink to your website. This is the method I used to identify the competitor’s backlinks.

Moz Followerwonk is the tool used for Twitter Analytics and Bio searching. It is free tools with the feature limited. I used this tools for identifying the website that relevant to my site.
For example, My site is related to Digital Marketing. I’m going to identify SEO related Twitter Profile using Followerwonk tool. When I search SEO in this tools, it will list out the Twitter account who has SEO word on their bio.
Then, I go to their Twitter account and get their website information and identifying any backlink opportunities available on their website. For example, they posted an article about SEO on their website which has no hyperlink. I contact him and told that your article has “SEO” keyword but don’t have any hyperlink on that. I wrote the detailed article about SEO and its type on my site. You can hyperlink this article to your blog will helps your website visitor to get more insights. By this way, I got more relevant backlink without spending money.
Long Tail Keyword:
There are two types of the keyword in SEO.
- Short tail keyword
- Long tail keyword
The short tail keyword has one or two word which has very high competitions. For example, Digital Marketing is the short tail keyword which has very high competitions. If you like to get your website higher rank on Google search for the keyword “Digital Marketing” is very difficult. Even though your site is shown on the first page for the keyword “Digital Marketing” you will get a lot of traffic but all are not relevant.
